PSA: Recently Poss Electric had a check(s) stolen. We do not know from what source, but copies of our signed check(s) were not disposed of properly and/or stolen, have been copied, and distributed all over the United States in many forms of illegal and questionable fraudulent activity. The account in question has been shut down and no one can get any money, but unfortunately these scammers are still smearing Poss Electric’s reputation by representing themselves as a part of our company while continuing to distribute these fake checks. If you are one of the unfortunate victims to this scam, we are terribly sorry this happened to you and want to ensure to you that Poss Electric is doing everything we can to put a stop to this by working closely with the corporate security of the financial institutions affected, as well as a report has been filed with the police. Poss Electric is in no way responsible for the fraud being committed and the behaviors of this activity do not purport to reflect the morals, standards, and opinions of Poss Electric. If you have any information regarding this situation we would appreciate if you would send any and all copies of checks, in addition to any information that could possibly lead to the discovery of the identity of the person(s) responsible, to be turned over to the authorities, via digital copy to our email at jamie@posselectric.com. We do apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
